Furnace body facilities series - Cooling stave

It is the cooling equipment of the blast furnace body, cooling and support refractory material and mainaine furnace shape.

The cooling stave is the cooling equipment of the furnace body, undertakes the tasks of protecting furnace shell, cooling and support refactory material and maintaining a proper furnace shape. The working theory is that the heat of furnace brick lining refactory material is transferred to the cooling stave base, then the base transfers heat to the cooling water pipeline, and the lastly the cooling water in the pipeline takes heat out of the furnace. So the large or small coefficient of heat conductivity is the core question of the application function of the cooling stave. Whats more, the main failure mode of cooling furnace is that the base metal collapses and the pipeline brittle fractures in the heat load and shock load is alternated.According to the working theory and failure mode of the cooling stave, we make sure that the mechanical property of base metal and anticarburizing of cast people pipeline, improve maximally the cofficient of heat conductivity of materials, reduce the thermal resistance of all interfaces in the manufacturing process to guarantee the cooling function and effect of the   cooing stave.
